Workshops & Seminars

Workshops built around your organisation, not a template.

Megan Elliott, founder of Onda Consulting

Every workshop and every workshop series is customised to your leaders, your industry and the outcomes you need. Nothing is delivered off the shelf.

Before anything is designed, I take the time to understand where your leaders actually sit: where conversations stall, where onboarding breaks down, where performance and engagement quietly leak. That's what shapes the session, the series and the follow-through. Not the other way around.

How we tailor it

Customised at every level

Pick a single workshop, run the full series, or build a blend that fits your calendar. The content, scenarios, language and emphasis are rebuilt for your organisation every time.

The full series

All six modules, delivered in order or spaced to match your rhythm. Each one builds on the last, with your language and your real situations woven through.

A selected series

Choose the modules that match your current priority. We sequence them so they still connect, and weight the content to the gaps you are trying to close.

Single workshops

One deep session on a specific leadership moment. The examples, case work and manager tools are drawn from your industry and the situations your leaders face.

Keynotes and conference sessions

A focused, high-impact session shaped around your event theme and the conversations your audience is avoiding back at work.

Who it's for

Who these sessions are built for

If your leaders sit in one of these situations, there is a session designed for it.

Newly promoted leaders

Strong performers who are now responsible for people, and learning a different job on the run.

Experienced managers under pressure

Leaders holding performance, conduct and wellbeing conversations without a consistent framework.

Whole leadership layers

Organisations lifting standards across every level at once, so language and practice line up.

Multisite and franchise teams

Leaders spread across sites who need one shared standard that still fits local reality.

Connected series

A Six-Part Team Leader Development Series

Delivered as a connected series, so each module has time to take hold before the next. Each session leaves your leaders with the tools and actions already in use, not a folder to open later. The order, emphasis and examples are customised to your organisation.

01

Foundations That Hold

Set the operating baseline that lets team leaders lead with clarity and consistency.

02

Conversations That Grow People

Move from feedback as an event to feedback as a daily leadership practice.

03

Planning Starts with You

Build planning habits that free leaders to focus on the work that matters.

04

Leading the Human Side of Change

Help teams navigate uncertainty without losing momentum or trust.

05

Where Values Come Alive

Turn organisational values into everyday behaviour, not posters on a wall.

06

Owning your Leadership

Step into personal accountability and a leadership voice that is their own.

Standalone sessions

Single Workshops

Targeted, standalone sessions for teams that need to go deep on one leadership moment. Each one is customised to your industry, your people and the real situations they are navigating.

How Leaders Improve Performance Through Courageous Conversations

Most leaders avoid the conversations that matter most, not because they lack courage, but because they don't know exactly where they stand. This workshop closes that gap. Leaders leave understanding the IR foundations that make a hard conversation safe to have, and a clear framework for having it well.

Embedded in the session: a conversation framework leaders start applying to a real, current situation before the workshop ends, not a hypothetical case study.

You'll leave with: a structure and confidence for your next difficult conversation, and the compliance grounding to back it.

Leading with Confidence: Reducing Legal and People Risk

The psychosocial and IR landscape has shifted faster than most leadership training has caught up with. Leaders are now expected to understand psychosocial hazard obligations, manage IR risk day to day, and still show up as a human being their team trusts, all at once. This workshop sits exactly at that intersection: enough legal and psychosocial literacy to lead safely, without losing the human connection and partnership that actually makes leadership work.

Embedded in the session: leaders work through a live, current scenario from the psychosocial and IR landscape relevant to their own industry.

You'll leave with: the working knowledge to lead through real risk, without leading from fear or defaulting to purely procedural management.

Development Conversations, Woven Through the Employee Experience

The annual review is dead, but most leaders still only have 'the conversation' once or twice a year, because nobody showed them how to make it continuous instead. This workshop builds development conversations into the everyday rhythm of leadership: onboarding, check-ins, feedback moments, all connected, so growth becomes part of how the team works, not an event on the calendar.

Embedded in the session: leaders map where development conversations already happen, and don't, across their own team's employee experience, then build one to run this week.

You'll leave with: a way of running development conversations continuously, not a once-a-year script.

Seen, Valued, Engaged

Engagement doesn't come from a bonus structure. It comes from people feeling genuinely seen, connected to something bigger than their task list, and recognised in ways that actually mean something to them. This workshop gives leaders the practical skill of purpose and clarity at two levels at once: the organisation's direction, and the individual's own reason for being there. From that foundation, leaders learn how to use recognition deliberately, and in more than one form, to grow and develop their people, not just reward output after the fact.

Embedded in the session: leaders build a recognition approach tailored to their actual team, identifying what genuinely lands for each person rather than defaulting to one generic method.

You'll leave with: a practical way to connect individual purpose to team and organisational vision, and a recognition approach your people will actually feel.

Now You're the Leader - Emerging Leaders

This isn't a standard first-time-manager workshop. It's built around the reality that a new leader now has to operate on two levels at once: the operational demands of running a team, and the people-leadership demands of sitting inside a much bigger employee experience ecosystem, one where onboarding, psychosocial safety, development, and culture are all connected, not separate boxes to tick. This workshop gives emerging leaders the practical grounding for both sides of the role, together.

Embedded in the session: leaders map their own team against both the operational and people-leadership demands of the role, identifying real gaps, not theoretical ones.

You'll leave with: a working view of the role that connects the operational and the human, instead of leaving leaders to figure out how they fit together on their own.

Leading Leaders - Advanced Leaders

For seasoned leaders whose job is no longer managing a team, it's leading other leaders, and translating organisational vision into something the whole business can actually execute. This is a customised, up-levelled workshop built around the strategic people lens: how experienced leaders build alignment across layers of leadership, hold other leaders accountable, and turn organisational objectives into daily behaviour, not just a slide in a strategy deck.

Embedded in the session: built around your organisation's actual strategic objectives, so leaders leave having applied the thinking to real, current priorities, not a hypothetical case.

You'll leave with: a strategic approach to leading leaders, shaped around your own organisational vision, not a generic senior leadership framework.

Process

How it works

A simple path from first conversation to leaders using the tools in real situations.

  1. 01

    Scoping conversation

We talk through where conversations stall, what the data says, and what needs to change.

  2. 02

    Custom design

Content, scenarios and language are built around your industry, structure and current priorities.

  3. 03

    Delivery

Practical, discussion led sessions where leaders apply the tools to live situations, not case studies.

  4. 04

    Embedding

Manager resources, follow up prompts and optional coaching so the practice holds after the room clears.

Business outcomes

What changes for the business

Leadership capability shows up in the operational numbers, not just the feedback forms.

  • Difficult conversations happen earlier, before issues become formal matters
  • Psychosocial and IR risk is understood and managed by leaders, not escalated by default
  • Onboarding and development conversations become consistent across sites and teams
  • Retention improves where people feel seen, recognised and clear on where they are going
  • Leaders make decisions with a shared language, so standards stop depending on who is on shift
